New Photo site!
A new era begins - http://www.landisfamily.org/pictures - we have a new and improved way of sharing our photos.
We had them on our original web site (www.landisfamily.org) but that was inconvenient and was going to overwhelm our 10 MB limit. Then we discovered ofoto, but that required an account - and since that was our repository for ALL our photos, well, it was just a bit intimidating to have to scroll through hundreds of pictures.
But now we have http://www.landisfamily.org/pictures. I am open to ideas on how to organize them, but my basic thought was basically to have top level categories for the year and then underneath that, albums divided into reasonable sized chunks - e.g. Family-Q1, Girlscouts-H1, and special events SFZoo-Jan.
It is still in development, but I am hoping to have all the historical photos - with CAPTIONS - in place in about a month.
To make this work all we are using is JASC Photo Album software - some disk space - and one lame .html page that I must fix (and sadly, that is the first page you will see).
