Apples for Thanksgiving

This year, we used Cameo apples for our apple pie and they were delicious. We are making this a blog entry not to publicize this to the world, but to have a convenient place to look it up next year when we can't remember the type of apple.

Who would have thought that the blog becomes a general, world-wide accessible, post-it note!

I love apple pie. I once had an apple pie that put every previous apply pie I'd had to shame. I was told it was made with the illusive Gravenstein apple.

Might have to make a trip to Sonoma this year to check it out.
