Epidural Blood Patch fails - NY/DC cancelled
Bad news - the blood patch did not work for me. The best guess is that the injection did not go completely into the epidural gap (it is hard to precisely place the needle, as it is all done by feel). So I am back to the spinal headache situation (not much fun). The plan is to rest through the weekend and then hope to feel better by Monday, as 75% of spinal headaches clear up on their own within one week. If I am not better by then, I will probably need to try the epidural blood patch again.
Due to this I can't fly - and we have to cancel our trip - which is so disappointing to everyone. And extremely frustrating to me.
