What the Nose Knows

What the Nose Knows: The Science of Scent in Everyday Life
Author: Avery Gilbert
Amazon info

I am generally fascinated by books about smell/scent but I have a somewhat mixed reaction to this. On the one hand, when I read it, I thought that there were some interesting insights, but now upon reflection several weeks later, I can't seem to remember any of them. Probably due to my lack of concentration rather than a fault of the book, as I seem to recall that the author tried to reinforce his points. Perhaps it was the slightly disconnected nature of the chapters.

Key points learned:
* That perhaps I should write summaries far closer to the time that I read the book!

Recommended: People interested in scent, those with good memories
