Pinkerton's Secret

Author: Eric Lerner
Amazon info

This was a fun book that is reinforcing my belief that the best way to learn history is through reasonably accurate historical fiction (a la Iggulden). The story of the Allan Pinkerton and the beginnings of the Pinkerton Detective Agency - set in its context of the Civil War and the issues of equality. I both enjoyed the book and learned many things from it.

Recommended: To all.
