Golf Swing Keys

In a flash of insight, or in recognition of a failing memory, I realized I should write down my key golf swing thoughts so that I don't have to re-learn them every year.

1. Hands in front of the ball (for irons, open face very slightly to compensate)
2. Can't swing too slow - swing should be slow enough to think of all these items
3. Keep chest and shoulders together, which means don't go too far back, don't let left shoulder rise to chin
4. Start downswing with the legs, particularly the right knee
5. Keep clubhead square through impact and going to the target

Then the swing is easy - the hook is usually caused by 3 & 4 not being followed.
